Has anyone bought a classic car from KJRepo.com?

I'm looking at a 1967 Mustang Fastback on kjrepo.com and I'm pretty nervous about pulling the trigger. The price is great – way below what I'm seeing on Hemmings and Bring a Trailer – but I've never bought a classic car from an online auction, especially a bank repo.

The listing says clean title and includes a condition report with photos, but it's still a lot of money to wire to a site I've never heard of before. The Mustang looks solid in the pictures, but we all know photos can hide a lot.

Has anyone here actually purchased a classic car through kjrepo.com? How did the process go? Did the car match the description? How long did title transfer take?

Any feedback would be really helpful before I place my bid!

I got a 69 Camaro from them about 6 months ago and overall it was a solid experience. Had to think twice before sending that much money to someone.

The condition of the Camaro was like they said, they were transparent about everything. No surprises, or hidden fees or things like that.

I got only one issue tho, the delivery time it was a little off that what they said because of some issues. But yeah overall a good experience, if you dont mind about delivery its a 10/10.

Got a 70 Chevelle from kjrepo earlier this year, everything went fine honestly.

Customer service is legit, called them like 5 times asking random stuff and they answered everything. Pretty patient people ngl.

Delivery was around 3 weeks which is kinda long but whatever, at least they kept sending me updates. Car showed up exactly how they described it in the photos.

Just remember these are repo cars so dont expect them to be perfect lol. Mine needed some work but nothing crazy, thats why its cheap.

Was literally in the same spot as you 3 months back. Almost bought a 68 Firebird but got cold feet.

Ended up calling them and just asked a bunch of questions about how everything works. They walked me through the whole process which helped a lot tbh.

Won the bid, delivery was late by like 10 days but at least they told me. Firebird looked exactly like the pictures when it showed up. Had my guy check it out and everything was good.

Would I do it again? Yeah for sure, just expect shipping to take forever lol.

Since ur looking at a Mustang I bought a 65 coupe from kjrepo last spring and its been great. Drive it whenever the weather is nice.

They had like 50+ photos of everything, even underneath and inside the engine. Report said some paint chips and carpet was worn which was all true.

Took about a week extra because of storms but when it got here everything was good. Driver let me check the whole car before I signed anything.

If the price is right and the photos look decent just go for it man. Worst case you need to fix some stuff but thats normal with old cars anyway.

Bought a 71 Camaro Z28 from kjrepo back in August. Took way longer than they said tho, like 22 days instead of 10-14.

They said it was cuz they wanted to use a proper classic car transport instead of regular one which makes sense I guess. When it finally came it was perfect, no scratches or damage.

Car looks exactly like the pics they posted. Some small stuff wrong with it but they told me about that already. Been driving it for a few months now, no problems.

Just dont expect it to come quick lol, took almost a month for mine.

Im a mechanic and Ive checked out like 5 cars from kjrepo that people brought in. All of them were pretty much what the reports said.

Just remember these are repo cars sold as-is so theres no returns. Read the condition report good and look for rust, mechanical problems, cosmetic stuff.

The cars from kjrepo were actually better than some from regular dealers honestly. They dont really hide stuff which is nice.

Get an inspection after you buy it ($200-300) and save some money for repairs maybe $1500-3000. Still gonna be way cheaper than buying from a dealer.

Bought a 66 GTO from kjrepo last October, was a repo from some credit union.

They kept me updated the whole time. Sent me all the payment stuff by email and then called to make sure I got it. Even sent me a PDF of the purchase agreement which was cool.

Took like 18 days to get here but they let me know what was going on. Transport company called 2 days before to set up a time.

Car was exactly what they described. Some paint issues and the inside was kinda beat up but engine runs perfect. Had it for over a year now, no regrets.

Since you want a 67 Mustang I got a 66 GT from kjrepo back in June.

Bidding was easy, just set my max and waited. Won and they sent confirmation right away. Paid with wire transfer.

Was supposed to take 2 weeks but ended up being 3 because of transport scheduling. They kept apologizing and sending me updates tho so wasnt too bad.

When it came everything looked right. Few chips in the paint and some rust in the trunk like they said. Interior was dirty but I cleaned it.

8/10 experience. Would be perfect if it came faster but for the price Im not complaining.

Got a 72 Nova SS from kjrepo in March. Was kinda nervous but their customer service answered all my questions so I went for it.

Report had tons of photos like 60+ showing everything. Body, engine, interior, all of it. What they showed is what I got.

Shipping was 16 days instead of 10 but they told me about the delay and even said they could rush it if I needed. Came on an enclosed trailer which was nice.

Driver was chill, we looked at the whole car together before I signed. Everything was good.

Yeah I recommend them just dont expect it to come super fast.

Bought a 69 Corvette Stingray from kjrepo in July. Actually my second time buying from them, got a 68 Impala before.

Both times everything was good. They show you all the problems in the photos which I like, no hiding stuff.

Corvette took about 3 weeks to get here which is long but whatever. Car was in really good shape for how old it is.

Theyre legit, just know delivery takes a while and youll probably need to fix some stuff but thats normal for old cars.

Thanks everyone this helped a lot!

Sounds like theyre legit and the reports are accurate just delivery takes forever. Gonna bid on the Mustang this weekend.

Read the report like 3 times already, few scratches and stuff but nothing crazy. Price is still way cheaper than other places even if I need to fix stuff.

Ill update when I get it. Thanks again yall are awesome!
